Hi there, I'm on day 5 and the headaches on day 2 and start of day 3 were horrendous - however someone at work mentioned to me that because I wasn't drinking tea or coffee or my beloved diet coke that it may be caffeine withdrawal.  one expresso later and the headaches had gone.  yesterday and today a black coffee first thing seems to be doing the trick.

good luck

Hi guys,

Good to see so many of you making the change that will really turn your life around if you're willing to let it do so. I've been on this diet for two months now and it gets easier. The first week and the beginning of the second one was hard for me. I felt really tired and had headaches and was starting to get depressed because eveyrone said day 5 was the hardest and at the beginning of week two I still felt like this. Then I woke up one day and felt better than in years. It really is worth it to stick to the plan 100%.

I've so far lost 37 lb in 7 weks or 2.6 stone. Don't get discouraged, if it's not always a big loss because this diet works and you will get to your target quicker than on any other diet. You'll see. If and when you struggle, this forum is a great place to be because of the friendly people, consultants who know their stuff and the encouragement.

Good luck to each and every one of you!

i totally understand what you mean. today i entered the office at 9.30 am and left at 12.30 midnight! you can't help it but be tired, get headaches and feel stiff all over. i have a huge problem with the evenings. when it's not quite yet dinner time, let's say at 7 pm i feel like i'm starving and need a snack. i use to survive on energy drinks before i started on CD and i still havent worked out a way to avoid feeling really hungry at that time. any ideas for people who work crazy hours?

Day three was my worst day! now on day 6 though and feeling great - I found that it was the caffeine withdrawal from diet coke that was my problem and 1 strong coffee each morning has really sorted me out.  good luck x

Im on day 3 today too, haven't had any headaches at all which im relieved about, it seems most do!

Didn't sleep well at all last night, took lots of water and tossing and turning to drift off! :(
Find myself waking up an hour earlier each day!! Im hoping this is a phase, is anyone else suffering lack of sleep??
