Hi,
Same here...I only like the shakes.
I'm on day 4 and feel great!
Little headache this morning but keep on sipping water...it works.
I did this for a few wks last year up to xmas then gave into temptation. Its taken me all this time to get bk to it...such a waste!
Anyway, I feel very positive and cant waite for first weigh in on Fri or Sat...
Last time I did it I lost 10 lb first week, then followed SS+ as I struggles to eat nothing at all...so I had a little chicken or tuna and veg in the evening; but this wk I've been on sole source and coping well. Just got to keep motivated-which I know each weigh in will do!
Let me know how you get on, oh and by the way, when your headache lifts and ketosis sets in you will feel a warm glow about you, giving you a little buzz-it's really good and shows me that all the needed nutrients really are in the shakes x

Hi

I'm on day 3 and feeling fine. Felt a bit lethargic this afternoon but I had to sit on the side of a swimming pool for 3 hours this morning meeting my new classes so I think I may have got a bit dehydrated.

I'm actually amazed how 'normal' i've felt on so little. Makes me think about what i've been eating!

Hi -   I am an old timer at this now.

Lost 9.5 week 1 and averaged a stone a month.

Moving up the plans now   (honestly harder than SS!)

Water gets easier to take in and becomes second nature.
Live on shakes and bars (available from week 3).

Day 4/5 was the worst for me and take some paracetomol if you need to.   Sort of detox feeling kicked in.

Then had great feelings of control (whereas my eating was out of control!!)

Now experiencing similar trepidation going up to 1200 plan.

But size 16 to 10/12 in 14 weeks is so worth all the work!

Good luck to all you new guys.  x

Hello Jilly

How come its hard going up the plans?  Is it becasue you want to eat loads or worried etc?  Your weight loss is amazing - how long did you do sole source for??

Hi i'm new on it too. i'm on my second day or third (considering it's like 3 am)
the first day was by far the hardest. at some point, late afternoon, i thought i was going to die. i had to do a little bit of cheating to avoid that but didnt feel a bit guilty about it. actually i thought it was quite better that i did cheat, as i only added about 70-80 calories but got enough energy to continue working (i work reaaaaaaaaally long hours)
today was much better. i only felt hungry at about 2 am and had a couple of cucumbers. i think that by the end of the week this whole hunger-lack of energy-sleepy business would be gone completely

i was invited to a party and instead of touching the food, i took my CD shaker and shake along and made a wonderful demonstration to the world on my new eating habbits. my friends made so many jokes about it that they made me forget how awful fruits of the forest tastes (never getting that one again! there are other, lovely shake options). everyone seemed more into it than me lol. i have done the same at work and everybody became sooo supportive about it. i think it feels less unnatural if you try to make your environment compatible to it
