My consultant's scales are 2lbs heavier than mine so not too worrying. As long as you're recording your loss on the same scales each week it shouldn't really matter. But i get people's point when they're as much as 7 or 8lbs out. That would have an impact on knowing whether your target weight is right. You wouldn't want to be as much as 8lbs above target without realising!

Mine is usually only 1lb heavier but even with digital scales maybe it varies a bit in different places? Sure it shouldnt but as long as it shows the same loss it wont matter untill you get close to target

im so glad im not the only 1!!
my scales say im 2lbs less than my CDC so if i have a sneaky weigh on mine i just add 2lbs just to be on the safe side, when i do that im still generally pleased with what im getting..

Wooooo Hoooooo! I am not the only one!
When I weighed at home before I started CD I was 3lbs heavier on my digital scales.
Now here is the confusing bit. According to my scales (at WI last Monday) I had lost 10lb in 2 weeks. I weighed with CDC and according to her scales had lost 7lb in 2 weeks
Now I am weighing at home too and according to my scales from the time I have started to now (3 weeks Weds) I have lost 16lb!!! I have definitely lost more than 7lbs as I feel amazing and everyone says they can really tell...even had to go and buy a smaller jeans last week!!!!!!
I know people may think I am living in dream land and perhaps trying to kid myself but I am not making it up to make myself feel better or anything like that, according to my scales (which have always been accurate in the past) I have lost 16lb!!!!!!
Sorry for such a long post with me waffling on. If I went by her scales think I'd be extremely disheartened by now!

I weigh myself at home and they are different from my CDC scales I ignore the weight and just look at how much I've lost as that is the same, luckily for me her scales weigh me lighter than mine at home lol

My CDC's scales show as usually 2lbs more than my scales at home... seem to generally go down at same rate although always adds to the incentive to keep to plan as much as possible as scared that her scales won't show any loss at all!!!
