Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has noticed that the scales you are weighed on with your consultant weigh you heavier than any other scale. I have checked my weight at home, at the gym and at my parents and they are all the same, give ot take a couple of pounds. I weigh 1/2 stone heavier on my consultants scales. They are all digital btw.

Yup, mine are the same as the CDC's (and I've got digital and non-digital). You're not weighing yourself on yours in the morning and then of an evening time at your CDC's are you? as you do weigh heavier in the morning than in the evening.

Hopefully the scales are giving the same weight loss each week though, ie 4lb loss on both your scales and CDC's.

Don't really know what to suggest? I know years ago I did WW and always found that their scales were heavier? Technology huh??

How odd! I weighed myself 5 mins before I left the house for the first consultation so I wouldn't get such as shock when she weighed me. (Had been previously avoiding the scales!) Same clothes on etc and she weighed me nearly 8Ibs heavier which was a bit depressing.
Thanks Nix you are right as long as the weight loss is the same I suppose.

Point this out to your Consultant ask if she has another set of scales I have a spare set so if there is any query I can check.

i have the same problem, when I first got weighed at the very beginning i was a pound lighter on mine, same clothes just before I went to her..
i always weigh myself to compare just before i go, matter of minutes literally, so imagine my shock when the next week i was 2lb heavier on hers, then 2 weeks ago i was wait for it... 4lb heavier! last week it had gone back down to 2lb heavier on hers. but i dont get it either... my scales stay in the same place and are digital Confused but her scales seem to fluctuate???

It's frustrating as on her scales I am the heaviest I have ever been but when I was near this weight years back I couldn't fit into the clothes I am fitting into now. It does make me wonder whether her scales are weighing me heavier or is that just wishful thinking!!! Smile
