Hi all,

I have been looking into this on the Internet and have got conflicting answers!

What I am interested to know is ..... Once you have achieved your target weight, is it then difficult to conceive due to having been on a VLCD?

I would very much doubt it. Actually being on CWP tends to make ladies more fertile and assuming you are slimmer after Cambridge, then you raise your chance of being more fertile than before.

I can't see any logical reason why someone would become less fertile after the diet than before the diet if you know what I mean.

All I can give you is anecdotal evidence, but judging purely on my personal experience, no, it's not difficult Wink

My doctor has recommended Cambridge to me... and this is knowing that we are trying to get pregnant! I've been told it's an excellent way to lose the weight and increase dramatically my fertility.

Hi VWbride. I fell pregnant last year a month after falling off the cambridge diet lol so I dont think it hinders you in anyway. Just make sure you watch what you eat once you are pregnant as my own stupidity gained 5 stone and am back to square one again. Good luck Lou x

I fell pregnant doing this diet! The result is my gorgeous little 16 - nearly 17 month old little girl (daughter no.4). The downside is that I then had to wait until I had given birth and finished breast feeding before I could start the diet again. As she decided to keep going on the mummy milk until she was 14/15 months there was quite a gap and too much opportunity to regain all the weight I lost, plus more Unhappy

Weeks 1 to 4 - 34lb off!
Wk5 - 6lb
Wk6 - 4lb
Wk7 - 3lb
